A family in Maidenhead, requires an after school nanny to care for their two children, a girl almost 8 and a boy aged 6 years old. They attend school during the day and will need someone to collect them from school, take them home and prepare a healthy cooked meal and play with the children. They both enjoy reading stories, making crafts and playing outside. Main duties would include cooking fresh meals for the children, washing and the children’s laundry and bedding, arranging play dates, visiting parks, providing fun and exciting activities, helping with homework etc.

Start Date: 3^rd June 2024

Days and Hours: Monday to Thursday, 3pm until 7pm (Three days a week will be accepted if requested)

All year round, the children can attend holiday clubs during the holidays.

Driver: Required with own car 

Pets: Yes, 1 cat

A wonderful family with three children are seeking a Nanny PA to help them with their busy day to day lives. They live in a small village in a beautiful old manor house which holds plenty of history and they have lots of surrounding land for the children to use. The children all attend a private school, which is approximately 30 minutes drive from their home and they have a girl aged 10 and two boys ages 8 and 5 years old. During the term times, the role would have additional PA duties to help assist mum with the families’ businesses. When the children are on school holidays, the role would be mainly focused on childcare.  

The family are looking for someone very easy going and flexible, well organised, outdoorsy, and generally good fun! The role would involve working alongside mum at times, as she works from home and enjoys sharing the childcare duties whenever possible. For example, she may want to do a school pick up, whilst the nanny remains at home preparing dinner for the children. In the school holidays, the children enjoy fun days out to theme parks and going on adventures. They each have a mixture of after school activities on different days from Rugby to Cricket. The children all very much enjoy the outdoors, therefore the role would be well suited to a nanny who enjoys sports and being kept busy.

Nanny duties would include cooking fresh meals for the children, organising their schedules and uniform, planning trips/visits/playdates, assisting with reading and homework, helping with their bedtime routines, washing the families laundry and getting them to and from school on time. PA duties will vary, depending on what events may be going on at the home, these may include checking over the Air B&B, ordering/stock taking equipment, managing the food cupboards, dealing with gardeners/visitors/tradespeople, helping with admin duties such as paying invoices and dealing with accounts, answering the business landline, walking the family dogs on the grounds, running errands and assisting mum where needed. Flexibility is a real key to this role, as the requirements change depending on the business and children.

Pets: Yes, 2 dogs. A Cocker Spaniel and Tibetan Terrier. There are also two other family dogs living on the grounds who may appear from time to time. A dog lover is a must!

Driver: Essential and to use the families Volvo XC90. There is a lot of driving involved with this role, therfore a confident driver is required.

Days: Four days per week. Preferably Tuesday to Friday term time and Monday to Thursday in the school holidays. This is negotiable, but it must be four days per week.

Hours: 7/7:15am until 7pm two days a week, 7/7:15am until 6:30pm two days per week. 47 hours per week

Salary: £39,000+ depending on experience, negotiable

Reading, Berkshire RG7 REF REA/LM

A family in Upper Woolhampton (Reading), require a Housekeeper to help and assist with their three children who are 13, 10 and 6 years old. They are a very busy family who have lots of clubs and groups to attend, as well as enjoying swimming at home, playing tennis at home or riding their ponies. The family have lots of animals, so a real animal lover would be wonderful! Their main goal would be to find someone who enjoys a busy household, can be flexible, well organised and bring lots of love and energy to their home. Their eldest is at boarding school and the others have a mixture of clubs after school. During the holidays there will be more childcare related duties. The role is very flexible, the families priority would be to find their super helper who enjoys all the things they do!

General duties would include changing the children’s bedding, general tidying in the home and putting all laundry items away (no washing required), cooking for the children,  dropping or collecting from school, helping with homework and school preparation, organising clubs and activities, arranging playdates, helping with admin duties, possibly walking the dog and/or assisting with horses but not a necessity

Hours: Part Time, but the hours are very flexible. The family suggest two or three days of 7/8 hours or five days at 5 hours a day but they are open to other suggestions. The hours must cover 4pm – 6pm. 

Pets: 2 cockapoos, 1 labrador, 2 cats, chickens and ponies (animals are not part of the  nanny housekeeper duties but you must not have an allergy, as their hair may be in the home)

At least 3 years professional housekeeper experience and some childcare experience 

Driver Required, nanny to use the families car or their own car

Salary £16,000 – £23,000gpa, depending on experience and hours
